'Pissed off' Paige VanZandt resented on Tuesday that he 'didn't cancel' his upcoming Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship match against Charisa Sigala . Saturday through mid-October.
In a message posted to on their Instagram page, VanZant, who were due to face Sigala in London as part of the BKFC 27 event, said the recent series of events had "ended. [her] control.
"I didn't stop fighting!!!!" Van Zandt began. "Caught! I'm pissed and heartbroken! I ripped off my ass to be pulled out a week before the competition!!!!!"
VanZant, 28, in Denver on Oct. 15. Play against Sigala. Thepromotion was announced on Tuesday.Sigalaboasts her 1-2-1 record with Bare Knuckles.
"More fuel on [the fire] for this win! I was ready to get it done on Saturday," Sigala wrote in one post of the postponement. 47} "New date. Same opponent," the 38-year-old fighter added in a follow-up post.
VanZant joined Bare Knuckle in 2020, losing their first two matches to Britain Hart and Rachel Ostovich respectively. She's also part of All Elite Wrestling, where she signed a contract in March.
