Prince Harry was ‘right to move to the US,’ says alleged ‘RHODC’ fling

Prince Harry is “finally free” — and Catherine Ommanney couldn’t be prouder of her alleged former fling.

The “Real Housewives of D.C.” alum, 50, spoke to OK magazine on Tuesday about how happy she is that the Duke of Sussex, 38, left England to live across the pond with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children.

“I am so proud that Harry had the courage to move to the States,” the former reality star said of Harry’s 2020 departure. “I think he really needed to do that.”

Ommanney recently made headlines over claims that she enjoyed a short-lived romance with the royal in 2006 when she was 34 and he was 21.

The former Bravo personality alleged to The Sun last week that she met the former military pilot through mutual friends at a London bar when she was separated from her first husband, Stephen.

Ommanney claimed that the couple went to a friend’s house where Harry made her a bacon sandwich.

“We started play fighting and I think we were wrestling on and off for about 15 minutes when I told him I needed to go home,” Ommanney said about the alleged encounter. “It was then that he lifted me by my waist off the floor and held me against the wall. He gave me the most incredible, passionate kiss I have ever had in my life.”

At the time, Harry was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Chelsey Davy that spanned seven years before ending for good in 2011.

Ommanney alleged that while she subsequently went on a few dates with Harry, the nascent romance abruptly stopped once it made headlines. The duo didn’t see each other again until a chance encounter at a 2009 polo match in Barbados.

The mother-of-three noted that she approves of Markle, who wed Harry in May 2018, saying that the couple “look very happy together” and she hopes the “Suits” alum “looks after him.”

She also joked that Markle’s dark tresses prove the royal is “clearly not only interested in blondes” despite many of his previous partners, including Davy and Cressida Bonas, sporting light tresses.

After wishing Harry “happiness and success,” Ommanney added, “He is a very brave, charismatic, incredibly funny, intelligent and lovely human being.”

Harry and the “Archetypes” podcast host are currently gearing up for their highly anticipated Netflix documentary, which drops Thursday with three of the six episodes.

The second “Harry & Meghan” trailer aired on Monday, with the prince explaining in a voiceover how “terrified” he was of “history repeat[ing] itself,” in reference to his late mother Princess Diana’s 1997 death.

In the Liz Garbus-directed show, the pair will “talk about being victims of the palace media machine,” a source told Page Six.

The California residents are currently in New York ahead of the release. The duo will be accepting an award at the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope gala Tuesday.
