QAnon Shaman Jacob Chansley spotted at halfway house following prison release

“QAnon Shaman” Jacob Chansley is settling in without incident at a federal halfway house in Phoenix — sporting a beanie, sweatshirt and jean shorts rather than the horned coyote-fur headdress he wore when he notoriously stormed the US Capitol shirtless on Jan. 6, 2021.

Chansley, 35, who became the poster boy of the Capitol riot, was photographed Saturday for the first time since being released from the FCI Stafford federal prison in Arizona after serving 27 months on a nearly 3 1/2-year sentence.

Chansley was spotted at the 70-bed Phoenix Residential Reentry Center coming and going from his top-floor-assigned unit to grab food, and standing outside smirking while holding a large mug in his hand, according to photos from the Daily Mail.

He later dodged questions from reporters, including what he thought of former Donald Trump being indicted in Manhattan over alleged hush money payments made ahead of the 2016 election.

Gloria Perez, who lives across the street, told The Post she won’t dare approach Chansley because he’s “probably crazy.”

“Every time you think of the riot that’s who you associate it with,” she said.

“I don’t even know his name, just the ‘horn guy.’”

Chansley, who suffers from mental health problems, must stay at the halfway house until May 25.

Chansley, of Phoenix, pleaded guilty to one count of obstructing an official proceeding before Congress in September 2021.

His mother, Martha Chansley, told The Post earlier Saturday that her son is “doing well.”

“We just have to pretend that he’s in jail still,” she said at her Phoenix home.

“The halfway house is still like a jail. He can’t go visit anybody. I don’t even get to visit him.”
