Rapper Logic called Aaron Judge’s record-breaking 62nd home run before it happened

In what was perhaps a tribute to Babe Ruth, Logic called Aaron Judge’s shot.

The rapper, a good friend of Judge’s, posted a video to his Instagram Stories of himself watching the Yankees slugger’s record-breaking home run Tuesday night. In the video, Logic appears to predict the dinger before it happens.

“The boy’s stepping to the f–king plate,” the rapper, born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, says in the video. “This is it.”

Sure enough, when Judge launched his 62nd home run into left field of Globe Life Park in the first inning of Tuesday night’s game, Logic and his friends erupt into cheers.

“I said it,” Logic said after the home run. “Did you get it on camera?”

The cameraman certainly did.

Logic and Judge have been friends for years, with the Yankees star having appeared on the rapper’s “Vinyl Days” album – on a song appropriately titled “Aaron Judge” — in a 23-second skit of a voice note Judge left for Logic.
