Jaylon Ferguson of Ravens died from the combined effect of fentanyl and cocaine: Report

Baltimore Ravens linebackerReported last month that Jaylon Ferguson was found dead as a result of the combined effect of fentanyl and cocaine

A spokesperson for the Chief Coroner's Office confirmed the cause of death for The Baltimore Sun. After the autopsy, officials said the death was determined to be an accident.

Early reports indicate26-year-old deathWas investigated as a possible overdose, and Ferguson's family was urged to issue a statement calling on the public to avoid speculation.

Ravens refused to comment on the results of Ferguson's autopsy,, telling the Baltimore Sun: rice field. He had a positive impact on many people, including his father, son, fiance, his friends and teammates.

Ravens chose Ferguson in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draftfrom Louisiana Tech. He played 14 games during the rookie season, showing 31 tackles, 2.5 sack, and a fumble recovery.

In 2020, Ferguson played 14 games, 30 tackles, 2 sack, and fumble recovery. In 2021, he played only 10 games and had 6 sack during the season.
