Ravens’ Lamar Jackson apologizes for vulgar tweet: ‘We got kids watching’

Lamar Jackson took back his words after vulgarly clapping back at a Ravens fan earlier this week.

A fan trolled Jackson after the Ravens lost 28-27 this past Sunday to the Jaguars, saying that the Baltimore superstar isn’t worth a $250 million or more contract and games shouldn’t come down to kicker Justin Tucker. The roast caused Jackson to respond angrily.

“Boy STFU y’all be cappin too much on this app mf never smelt a football field never did s–t but eat d–k,” Jackson said in a now-deleted tweet.

Jackson apologized to reporters Friday for the harsh words, citing he felt “bitter” from the upset loss and it was the first tweet he saw on social media. He added he deleted the post because his girlfriend advised him to.

“I apologize if I hurt feelings out there,” Jackson said. “I had just busted my behind — my whole team, the coaches did — that’s what I seen. I just reacted to it. My bad. My bad…

“Don’t say what I said. We got kids watching. I don’t need kids saying that. I’ll try to stay off Twitter, if anything, if something like that happens again. Hopefully, we’re not losing no more.”

Despite the loss to the Jaguars, the MVP candidate has led the Ravens to a 7-4 record — good enough for a tie at first in the AFC North. Jackson is also set up for a massive contract next season, either in Baltimore or elsewhere.
