Congressman McCarthy blames leftist abortion reaction: Americans do not support Democratic radical position

Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy considered the Democratic Party's new abortion strategy on Monday and pushedabortion into the midterm elections as the most important issue. But McCarthy said Americans didn't support their "radical" position.

"Democrats aren't just for abortion. Everyone in Congress voted to have an abortion until the moment of birth," he said. I said in. "The United States does not support it."

In a speech on Friday, President Biden responded to the Supreme Court's reversal of the Roe v. Wade case in November. He said that freedom was secured.

"Roe is on the ballot this fall," Biden said. "Privacy, Freedom, Equality Rights-They are all on the ballot."

McCarthy saidThe Supreme Court did not outlaw abortion, The problem was sent back to the state. He said Americans now have the opportunity to comment on how their state tackles abortion. 

McCarthy dismisses concerns that a completeabortion ban could adversely affect Republicans in fierce mid-term competition, with voters on a variety of other issues, including inflation. He explained that he would also focus on crime.
