Authorities are investigating reports of gunshots being blocked at night from the White House. Three people were detained.
The US Park Police said they received a report of a shooting near 1600 Constitution Avenue at approximately 1:15 am.
Near the National Mall and the Washington Monument.
Parks Police say officers found three of his unmanned vehicles with gunshot wounds. It seems that no one did. Seashells were also found,CBS Washington, D.C. affiliate WUSA-TV reported.
Officers recovered firearms nearby and found a boy and his two adults. Park police reported that he was detained. They said the boy had a gun.
There were no ongoing threats to the public, police added.
According to WUSA, Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers and the US Secret Service were also at the scene.
