Retired officer, 51, finds new career as a stripper cop — handcuffs included

From serve and protect to strip and erect.

A career cop who spent more than 30 years on the force has found a new passion performing as a policewoman stripper.

Michelle Walton, 51, who hails from the Isle of Wright in England, retired from her local police department in 2020 before creating her saucy stripping routine when she joined a small burlesque dance class.

“I created a stripping cop routine, as I already have the truncheon [batton] and handcuffs,” the raunchy retiree told Southwest News Service on Friday.

“My routine involves walking up to the stage waving two blue lights around, then stepping up on a chair pretending to direct traffic, then taking my first layer of clothing off,” she dished. “I then step in to the audience and dish out fixed penalty tickets, with the offense of ‘being too sexy.'”

Walton first joined the police force back in 1989, when she was just 18 years of age.

The British beauty spent more than a decade as a cop before taking a year of unpaid leave, traveling to Australia for a working holiday in 1999.

“When I got to Australia, I needed a job so I became a skimpy bar maid, which involved working in pubs in my underwear, then flashing my boobs for money,” Walton recalled.

“My work progressed to doing topless and nude waitressing, but there was never any groping or sex involved,” she further explained. “I love my body and I was having so much fun while earning great money.”

Walton returned to the UK in 2000 and spent 20 more years as a police officer — before finally leaving the force in 2020.

Unsure of how to fill her days, the former cop remembered how much fun she had stripping off Down Under and soon joined a burlesque dance class.

Fellow members encouraged the retiree to create her own routine, and she drew upon her law enforcement career for inspiration.

Soon, Walton was performing her policewoman stripper act for charity on the Isle of Wright.

“For me, stripping is about female empowerment and loving yourself,” she declared. “I’m not a skilled dancer, I just love my body and love getting my kit off after 30 years of restrictions on what I could and couldn’t do.”

This year alone, Walton has done five charity shows, earning hundreds of pounds for a variety of different causes.

She said she is loving her past time and has no plan of hanging up her handcuffs anytime soon.

“I’m telling my story because I’m proud of my achievements and what I’ve done,” she stated. I hope it inspires other women to love their own bodies, regardless of their shape or size.

“I’m sure there will be people that will judge me and think I’ve done wrong – but I don’t care,” the former cop defiantly declared. “I will simply do what makes me happy for as long as I live, and I’d encourage anyone else to do the same!”
