Roger Clemens is now a "DJ" with a unique nickname

Former Major League pitcher Roger Clemens clearly spins more than baseball, and the "rocket" has an (additional) nickname to prove it.

Clemens participated in the New England Sports Network broadcast of the Tigers-Red Sox game last night and told the Clemens broadcast booth that he runs a music room at his home.

"We got a music room. As you know, I during the day Nickname is "Rocket". "DJ no request" at night, Roger told the TV crew.

Clemens was in town to see his son Kodi, his recent Detroit call. Young Clemens plays primarily in the infield, but he appeared last week with unexpected pitching. He didn't play last night and won 5-4 in Boston.

Regarding Clemens' no-request policy, he warned that music room attendees should continue patiently.

Unfortunately, so is my son Kodi's statistics. The 26-year-old has been struggling so far, with only 32 at-bats, but a batting average of .125 with only 4 and 2 RBIs. It's surprisingly not far from the total of his dad's career hits. Roger has accumulated only 31 knocks in his 24-year MLB career.
