Roger E. Mosley, Magnum, an actor known for his role in P.I., died. Mosley said he was 83 years old.
According to The Hollywood Reporter , the actor died Sunday (August 7) at Cedars in Los Angeles at his medical center.Mosley died on August 4 from injuries sustained in a car accident. His daughter Cha was confirmed to be THR.
Cha also announced the death of her father in her statement posted on Facebook on Sunday. she wrote:died at 1:17 am. Surrounded by her family peacefully transcended. We couldn't mourn such a wonderful person. He would hate crying over his name.
Her statement continued: i love dad you loved me too My heart is heavy, but I am strong. I will take care of my beloved mom for nearly 60 years. you raised me well Rest well.
Mosley was best known for his appearance in the original Magnum, P.I. Mosley played Theodore 'TC' Calvin on the crime series and then returned for the 2018 reboot as John Bookie for two episodes from 2019 to 2021., Mosley has appeared in multiple movies and series, and booked his first television role as a prison guard in the series Longstreetin 1971. He starred in per The Mack. He appeared in multiple blaxploitation films, including, Hitman, Sweet Jesus, Preacherman,Darktown Strutters.THRMagnum, P.I.; THR.
After the unexpected success of Magnum, P.I. ,Mosley appeared in multiple network shows: ABC sitcom Hanging out with Mr. Cooper.
