(CNN)Investigating former President Donald Trump's attempt to overturn the 2020 elections in Georgia According to court filings issued by a handful of large jury members in the Atlanta region, his former lawyerRudy Giulianiand South Carolina State Senator Lindsey Graham are among the major Trump allies.
The summons also include other former Trump legal counsel, including John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Cleta Mitchell, and Kenneth Chesebro.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has led the investigation by delving into Trump's actions in Georgia. Several state officials have already been summoned and have appeared before a special grand jury.
However, the latest subpoena raft marks a new stage in grand jury activity reaching the inner circle of Trump.
Graham's spokesman did not immediately respond to the request for comment. Giuliani's lawyer, Bob Costello, said he had not received the subpoena yet and declined to comment further.
