Willis calls Graham at least twice in a petition filed with the judge. In the weeks following the November 2020 election, he wrote that he was a member of La Fence Purger and his staff. During those calls, Graham asked about revisiting certain absentee ballots "to explore the possibility of more favorable outcomes for former President Donald Trump," she wrote.

Graham's lawyer told Fox News Digital that the petition was purely political.

"In a conversation with a Fulton County investigator, Senator Graham was informed that he was neither the subject of the investigation nor the subject of the investigation, but merely a witness. This is all politics," said lawyer Bart Daniel. Said Matt Austin: Statement on behalf of Graham.

"Fulton County is working on a fishing expedition in collaboration with the January 6th Commission in Washington. Information from Senator Graham's interview or deposit is immediate. "As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Senator Graham has ample right to discuss election management processes and procedures with state authorities." If that was the case, the summons issued today would upset the balance between constitutional power and the abilities of lawmakers. Senator Graham goes to court to challenge and win the summons. I'm hoping for that. "
