A shocking video captures the moment a businessman collapses and dies while giving a speech at a conference in Egypt.
Mohammed Al-Qahtani, a Saudi businessman residing in the United Arab Emirates, was reportedly speaking at the Arab-African conference in Cairo on Monday. He seemed unconscious and fell backwards.
Al-Qahtani is the chairman of the board of Al-Salam Holding Company and has reportedly held many honorary positions as a goodwill ambassador.
He Arabi21said he was speaking at an event titled "Supporting the Achievements of [Egyptian] President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi" when he collapsed.
He reportedly praised Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed as "the dean of humanity and a man of peace" just before he fell to the ground.
Egyptian YouTuber Abdullah El-Shrif wrote that al-Qahtani had died after being taken to another room by security guards at a meeting.
Arabi21 reported: The event was attended by representatives of international, regional and Arab institutions and organizations, numerous ambassadors and Arabs.
Al-Qahtani's cause of death was not immediately clear.
