School bus driver resigns after profanity-laced tirade at students: ‘Unacceptable’

An Ohio bus driver resigned Thursday after her foul-mouthed meltdown toward students garnered nearly 3 million views on TikTok in just two days.

While the Amherst Exempted Village School District has not released the former employee’s name, her explicit rampage is unmistakable in the viral 2-minute clip,

The driver seemingly pulled over and got out of her seat to scold alleged troublemakers.

“Goddamn it, how much more do you expect me to f–king take?” she appeared to ask a girl, demanding that the alleged student “give me the perfume.”

“I didn’t do anything … I didn’t spray anything!” the young voice insisted.

“I’m sick of you,” she pointedly told another student.

“I’m sick of all of this s–t. I’m done with it,” the woman yelled.

“I’m going to start kicking some f–kin’ serious ass — do you hear me?!” she then threatened.

“My foot’s gonna be so far up your goddamn ass, it’s going to dangle out your goddamn nose. I’m done with you! Put that phone in your bag — now you give it to me,” she said, seemingly unaware that someone was filming her long, expletive-filled outburst.

The driver claimed that she was “allergic” to the perfume and that another student was “no innocent little angel” in Perfumegate.

She told one more individual that he was “full of s–t.”

“I’m ready to walk off this goddamn bus right now and let you people walk the f–k home,” she further declared. “How much more do you think anybody can freakin’ take?”

She then addressed another student, yelling, “Shut your mouth! I don’t wanna hear another goddamn word outta your mouth!” and continued to shout before settling back into the driver’s seat.

Cleveland station WKYC reported that school officials are investigating the “unacceptable” incident.

The Post has contacted district representatives for comment.

Amherst Superintendent Mike Molnar told the outlet that he sent the following letter to parents throughout the district:

Dear Amherst Parents,

This evening, I received a video circulating on social media of a bus driver using inappropriate and offensive language towards students. The behavior exhibited by the bus driver is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. I have accepted the bus driver’s resignation effective immediately and the incident will be fully investigated. The actions of the bus driver do not represent the values and standards we uphold as a district and do not reflect our commitment to providing a safe, caring, and compassionate educational environment.

Moving forward, our Transportation Department will review its procedures to make sure we are handling situations appropriately for the safety of our students. The district will also continue to support our bus drivers with proper training and professional development.

As Superintendent, I will continue to focus my energy and efforts on creating a positive and safe environment for all students and staff. I believe that open communication and constructive feedback from our community help us create a stronger and more supportive environment. Thank you.

Meanwhile, many commenters on the viral TikTok were in support of the irate driver.

“100% team bus driver,” one wrote.

“If I was her boss, she’d get a raise,” another declared.

“Back to basics… I love it. This was common. when we were in school.. you don’t dare eff with the bus driver,” another said.

“Lady shouldn’t have to deal with nonsense. This is why there is a bus diver shortage in my area. She’s just trying to make a living. Give her a break,” one said.

“This is called good ol fashion discipline!! I absolutely LOVE it!!!” another applauded the driver.
