Viktor Hovland was a little unlucky ahead of Thursday'sScottishOpen.
A 24-year-old Norwegian arrived at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotlandwithout a club and luggage. His bag was reportedly stuck in Germany on Wednesday.

It didn't look like his club arrived in time for the first round. His sponsor, PING, was reportedly at the Scottish Open site and worked to provide Hobrand with a replacement set before the first round began.
Hovland belonged to a notable group of Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm.

This is the second time Hobrand has addressed travel issues. At the Sentry Champions Tournament in Hawaii, Hobrand's club did not arrive until the day before the tournament.
Hovland has won three PGA tours in his career, but with no major wins. He was ranked 8th in the world towards the Scottish Open.

Next week, he will play theOpen Championship. He finished 12th in his major debut last year. He missed a cut at this year's U.S. Open, finishing 41st in the PGA Championship and 27th in the Masters.
