Simu Liu has officially “hard launched” his new romantic interest.
The “Shang-Chi” star went Instagram-official with girlfriend Allison Hsu over the weekend, sharing a pic of the two cozied up in festive sweaters.
“pictured: two asians in front of santa’s crotch 🎅🏻,” Liu, 33, joked in the caption of the photo, which was snapped at the “Violent Night” premiere in Los Angeles.
Entrepreneur Jason Y. Lee added, “HARD launch alert. ❤️🔥🚀🥰.”
Others were quick to note they were heartbroken that Liu was officially dating Hsu, who works as a digital marketing manager at Interscope Records.
“Welp time to change my wallpaper on my Apple Watch 😢 but I’m so happy for you,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Wow I’m heartbroken.”
A third follower chimed in, writing, “A very sad day for me. simu is no longer single. but SO HAPPY for you tho!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Liu’s post came just two weeks after his lady shared a snap of the two at a Blackpink concert via her own Instagram, seemingly confirming the relationship for the first time.
The Marvel star was seen cuddling Hsu from behind in the cute pic, wrapping his arm around her while they smiled at the camera.
The Chinese-born Canadian actor was previously linked to fellow actress Jade Bender, and made his red carpet debut with her at the 2022 ESPYs in July.
Although they made a string of public appearances, Liu revealed he was single at the tech conference Dreamforce in September, per SFGate.com.
He also referenced a breakup during a question-and-answer segment, telling a fan, “I experienced moments where I’m living my dream and it didn’t quite feel like I was where I needed to be with myself,” he said.
“I’m also going through a breakup. That’s probably also contributing to it, but that’s OK. I’ll be OK.”
