Naked after a South Jersey man carjacked a teenager on Friday Authorities said they were involved in a crime.
Michael Davis, 37, was arrested while wearing his birthday suit, all after a rampage in Absecon, including robbery and assault,police officer. Said on Saturday.
Davis was naked when he jumped into a car with a teenage driver in the parking lot on Friday and took a minor to a nearby apartment building. ..
When they pulled up, he assaulted the driver and took off on his cell phone.
In an apartment complex, the suspect allegedly broke into one house with his mother and two children inside. The children and mother were able to escape safely.
Davis is alleged to have invaded the second home after expanding the balcony upstairs while the mother and baby were inside. According to authorities, he began to attack her, but she was able to repel him and let him escape.
Later he began to hide, but was discovered by police when they arrived. Instead of surrendering, police said he followed the policeman with his foot before finally wearing the cuff.
Police said Davis was charged with three cases of robbery, three cases of worsening sexual contact, three cases of lewdness, and two cases of endangering the welfare of children.
He was sent to Atlantic County Jail, police said Saturday.
