Steve-O: Ejaculating after a year of celibacy was ‘underwhelming’

Orgasming after over a year of celibacy was “terribly underwhelming” for Steve-O.

The “Jackass” star opens up about his sexual addiction in his new memoir, “A Hard Kick in the Nuts: What I’ve Learned from a Lifetime of Terrible Decisions,” revealing a therapist advised him that the first step to recovery was abstinence — and that included no masturbation.

Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover, admits that his first attempt ended after a couple of weeks, but then he racked up some serious time.

“I did not ejaculate, period, for the entire year of 2014,” he tells Page Six exclusively. “Well, actually, I’m sorry, it was like a year and three months. There was, like, 15 months, 431 days that I went [without ejaculating]. And at the time that that was going on, my belief was that I needed to be able to do that for myself.”

The stand-up comic, 48, is now engaged to stylist Lux Wright and began his therapy for sex addiction before the two met.

“As I approached 40 years old, I thought, well, I am on a path that does not lead to real happiness,” he shares. “And I subscribed to the idea that future happiness was dependent upon my developing the ability to be in a healthy relationship.

“And I set about becoming the man that the love of my life deserves, acknowledging that I had not yet met the love of my life, and that if I were to meet the perfect person, I would have been completely useless to that person unless I got to work on becoming the right person. So, you know, that’s what it was.”

Glover confesses that it was not an easy or quick journey but something that was deeply important.

“I worked on it for a long time, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” he adds.

The YouTube star also expresses remorse for his past behavior.

“It was reprehensible, you know, the idea of just using people up and throwing them away,” he says.

Steve-O will be signing copies of his latest book at the Barnes & Noble in Union Square on Thursday, Sept. 29.
