Tommy Lee’s wife Brittany Furlan: ‘People mistook’ my Pamela Anderson joke

Brittany Furlan feels “people mistook” her joke about husband Tommy Lee’s ex-wife Pamela Anderson.

“[They] thought I was making a joke about her dying instead of myself,” the former Vine star exclusively tells Page Six, sarcastically adding that the resulting fallout has been “so fun.”

The social media personality, 36, says she’s “saddened” that her since-deleted TikTok — in which she suggested Anderson wouldn’t care if she died — was taken “the wrong way.”

However, she knows there is only so much she can control. “What will be will be,” she laments, adding that “humor, even dark humor” has always been her go-to coping mechanism for “uncomfy” situations.

Amid the release of Anderson’s memoir, “Love, Pamela,” and her Netflix documentary, “Pamela: A Love Story” — both of which focus heavily on her chaotic marriage to the Mötley Crüe drummer — Furlan shared a selfie-style video with a “’90s Pam Makeup” filter on her face that showed her repeatedly saying, “Oh, oh,” in an unfazed manner while an oblivious Lee, 60, sat beside her.

“Pam if I died,” the funnywoman wrote atop the clip.

Despite her caption — which explained, “Pls guys I gotta make jokes it’s how I cope” — internet users were outraged by Furlan’s “disrespectful,” “uncalled for” and “horrible” post.

Many even pointed out that Anderson, 55, has had “nothing but nice things to say” about Furlan and Lee as a couple amid her press tour.

Still, the former Playboy Playmate predicted in an interview with WSJ. Magazine that Lee’s wife of almost four years wouldn’t be too fond of the contents of her book.

“I’m sure it’s going to be annoying to his wife. I’d be annoyed,” Anderson told the publication.

Days later, Furlan posted a video in which she assured her followers she was “OK” and thanked them for “checking on [her].”

She also gushed over Lee, whom she married on Valentine’s Day 2019, calling herself “lucky to have a really loving husband who honestly laughs all the stuff off and could care less.”

As for Lee and Anderson, the pair eloped in 1995 only a few days after meeting. They welcomed two sons — Brandon in 1996 and Dylan in 1997 — before divorcing in 1998.

In both her memoir and her documentary, the “Baywatch” star described a tumultuous marriage marked by anger, jealousy, physical abuse, an arrest, jail time, substance abuse, a suicide attempt, family feuds, lawsuits and a stolen sex tape.

She explained that her split from the rocker was “the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of [her] life,” but she “had to protect [her] babies.”

Despite going on to wed several more times, Anderson said her relationship with Lee “may have been the only time [she] was ever truly in love.”
