Jonathan Turley: Merrick Garland has refused to appoint a special counsel on the Hunter Biden issue. . In my view, this is an astonishing colossal failure of the Attorney General. There is no basis I can think of for not appointing a special counsel in both of these situations. The Hunter Biden scandal directly contradicts what the President has told the nation for years: We are currently having meetings with Hunter Biden business associates at the White House. Joe Biden's denial now seems untrue. And at issue is an information-affecting scheme that could have spawned millions of people. As attorney general, how can you not appoint a special prosecutor? Then move to January 6th. There is a grand jury by the government of a man who was an opposition candidate, investigating a man who could be his opponent in the next election. On its own, without mentioning anything else, it's strange to suggest that we don't need a special counsel.That's why we had a special counsel with Nixon.Everybody celebrates Archibald Cox . Where is Archibald Cox? Where are the people saying let's do it like Richard Nixon did?
