Reportedly, two people were shot dead on Friday near the Governor's Mansion, the highest official residence in New York State.
Two men were shot dead at around 11:40 pm. Grand Street between Madison Avenue and Elm Street — 2 blocks from Executive Mansion — Albany Times Union reported Saturday.
Neither the 34-year-old nor the 30-year-old victims suffered life-threatening injuries, Outlet quoted police.
In the same incident, an older injured man was shot in the leg and a young man was grabbed a bullet in his face, Albany police officer Steve Smith said according to the Times Union. The
pair was rushed to the Albany Medical Center and WNYT reported.
According to the Times Union, as of Saturday morning, police officers had no suspects in the shooting.
According to the Times Union, the shootings were fired on Friday night in areas where several recent shootings took place.
