Living in one of the seven wonders of the world — or at least something like it — will cost you six figures.
In the small town of Rockwell, North Carolina, a property has come to market asking $675,000 — and perhaps it seems more at home in Egypt. Indeed, this three-bedroom spread bears a bizarre resemblance to the Pyramids of Giza, located on the outskirts of Cairo.
Images show the home is split into two pyramid-like structures — one with a red roof and the other with a blue one. The property is aptly named “The Pyramids” and was designed in 1987 by an architect named James Kluttz, according to Jampress.
Among the features, in addition to the conversation-starting shape: 18 acres of grounds with fig, apple and banana trees.
Inside, images show the new owners will have some tight quarters with, for instance, a single bed located in a small space right under a slanted roof. Meanwhile, the hallways are also small and don’t receive sunlight.
Don’t fret. Also inside are two areas connected by a breezeway with a sunroom, a screened-in porch and a covered deck — as well as a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. One pyramid houses a garage and the unusually shaped roof also has skylights to let in sunlight.
The property spans 3,687 square feet and also has seven bathrooms.
Still, despite its quirky curb appeal, the property made its way to social media channels, which left viewers stunned.
“Great place to get mummified,” wrote one, while another said, “What in the Netflix cult documentary is going on here.”
“There are like 4 windows…holy lack of natural light! There is a reason pyramids are tombs vs. houses to actually live in,” said another, with another adding, “I’d feel like the walls were closing in on me.”
There was at least one fan of the home: “It’s quirky…AND I LOVE IT!!! Looks surprisingly cozy inside.”
The listing comes at an interesting time. Last week, The Post reported that a listed Egyptian villa delivers a supreme perk: unadulterated views of the Pyramids of Giza.
