Video shows moment two men blast guns on crowded Florida boardwalk on Memorial Day

Florida cops are asking for the public’s help identifying two men caught on camera brandishing guns as shots rang out on a crowded boardwalk Monday, leaving nine people shot and frantic crowds running for their lives.

The footage shows a scuffle breaking out along a crowded stretch of the popular Hollywood attraction before a man in a yellow hoodie pulls out a pistol and begins firing.

Another suspect in a gray hoodie and black pants can also be seen squeezing off several shots before sprinting away from the late evening bedlam.

Several children ranging in age from 1 to 17 were among the nine bystanders who were hit by bullets.

Eight of the nine victims, including the 1-year-old, were in stable condition with one person in surgery, police said.

Officials did not say what sparked the initial fight that led to the shooting, but a local law enforcement source said detectives are investigating a gang angle.

“It is completely unacceptable that innocent people spending time with family on a holiday weekend have been affected by a shooting altercation between two groups who came into our city with guns and no regard for the safety of the law abiding public around them,” Hollywood Mayor Josh Levy said in a written statement Tuesday.

Police officers and first responders began giving aid to victims after receiving calls of shots fired around 6:45 p.m. Several good samaritans assisted victims while awaiting emergency crews.

Disturbing photos posted to social media showed several bloodied revelers splayed out on the boardwalk as bystanders rushed to their aid.

Several local business owners blamed out-of-town ruffians for the shooting, saying the Memorial Day weekend attracts massive crowds from beyond Hollywood.

“We’re in a tough situation,” a local bar owner told The Post Tuesday. “We get a lot of extra business during the holiday, but it feels like it’s getting out of hand. Shootings are not good for business in the long run.”

The scene of the mass shooting is roughly 11 miles south of Fort Lauderdale and 20 miles north of Miami.
