West Virginia helicopter crash kills six people

On Wednesday evening, when a helicopter descended in a rural area of ​​Logan County, West Virginia, all six people on the helicopter died.

The Bell UH-1B crashed around 5 pm. Near National Highway 17, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Ray Bryant, Chief Operating Officer of the Logan Emergency Ambulance Authority, confirmed at a press conference that all six had died. According to Brian, the helicopter was based at Logan County Airport and was used for recreational tours.

Carolyn O'Connor, 73, in Winter Garden, Florida. Marvin Bledsoe, 64, in Chapmanville, West Virginia. Jack Collins, 65, 65, Chapmanville, West Virginia.   

The status of the crash was unknown. 

Brian said the helicopter was from the "Vietnamese era." According to the Heritage Flight Museum, the Bell UH-1 was first manufactured in the 1950s and was a widely used military helicopter during the Vietnam War.

As with the standard policy, the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate. The NTSB reported that five investigators went to the scene.
