Will Middlebrooks ignite a feud with an alleged MLB referee Instagram user?

Will Middlebrooks is fed up with MLB referees, and former Red Sox third baseman believes he knows a remedy.

After Doug Eddings missed the worst 29-ball / strike call of the season in the White Sox and Blue Jays match, Middlebrooks made a suggestion in hopes of preventing a similar performance. I did.

"Referee, They are protected by their union, "Middlebrooks said in his" Wake and Lake "podcast. "They don't have to answer anyone. They're not accountable. When a baseball player smokes, they're sent to Triple A. (Eddings) get nothing at all. About how terrible he did. You don't have to answer the media. It's a problem. It's not a problem, so it's not going to help them get better. There's no incentive to get better.

"... the best Give the referee more money. Give the best referee more opportunities, and maybe everyone will try to be better and not too lazy. It's a tough job, but you need to know. Why can anyone in the world see if it's a ball or a strike, except for one man? ”

Needless to say, the referee was too much on Middlebrooks' suggestion. I don't seem to be satisfied. The Instagram account with the handle "lazd17" left an angry comment on the post. Middlebrooks believes, among other things, that this account belongs to Razdias, a 24-season MLB referee who has made three appearances in the World Series.

"You are not a referee&You do not know what is happening in the world of referee's life !!" Diaz is said to have written. "As a player, you were supposed to be a full superstar in Boston&, but you didn't respond, so it's the referee's fault. Be real !!!"

Laz Diaz did not take kindly to Will Middlebrook's suggestion to shore up MLB's umpiring.

Middlebrooks, Boston's Most Highly Reputed Prospect At the time of his MLB debut in 2012, he hit .228 in his six-year career.

"Your very expert, Raz" Middlebrooks replied from his personal account. "If you don't want to talk about the referee, don't even mention my name. I've never blamed the referee for not being healthy or playing well. Those rabbits It's good to know that your ears are still working. "
