A woman and two dogs were struck by lightning while walking in the Los Angeles area on Wednesday morning. Authorities said it was fatally hit.
During the thunderstorm, women and pets were walking along the San Gabriel River, the Los Angeles County Sheriffs said.
They were found lying in the aisle around 8:50 am. Rescuers attempted CPR accordingly, but authorities believe they died as soon as they hit the bolt.
The sheriff's office did not disclose the woman's identity while waiting for notification to her family. However, the department said she was a resident of Picoli Viera in her 50s. According to
