David McKay's stint with the Yankees was short-lived.

McKay, 27,was acquired by the Yankees on April 4th. He was with Raise, but there was a clause in his contract allowing him to move to another team if that team wanted to put him on the list of 40 people if Raise didn't. ..
He made two major league appearances in the Yankees last month. I pitched twice. Shutout innings. With over 26 games in 2019 and 20 between the Mariners and the Tigers, McKay's ERA was 6.08.
The Yankees also announced that they have added right-handed Albert Abreu to their active roster. They claimed an exemption from the Royalsearlier this week after trading Abreu to the Rangers in the spring training of catcher Jose Trevino.
