Antigua Trades and Labour Union (AT&LU) has a new president as Bernard de Nully takes the helm, succeeding longstanding president Wigley George.
This transition comes as part of the union’s 84th annual delegates conference, where George announced his decision not to seek re-election.
During the conference, George emphasized the changing global workforce, stressing the need for the union to adapt to the era of man-machine collaboration.
Labour Commissioner Eltonia Rojas urged union officials to adopt more strategic approaches.
