CABINET NOTES – Addressing public confusion, the Cabinet reiterated its stance on the acquisition of land within the V.C. Bird Airport compound.
The clarification affirmed that only privately-held lands within the airport, specifically those near Runway 10 and subject to ABAA rules, are affected by the Cabinet’s decision.
Lands beyond the airport’s fence, including shoreline areas, are not impacted.
