Non-Competing Bands Showcase their Carnival Costumes
It’s the eve of the carnival road march and Channel Five will be bringing you live coverage of the bacchanal beginning at one p.m. on Youth for the Future Drive. We will then switch over to the Marion Jones Sporting Complex for the last lap where the nine competing junior and senior bands will give one final performance for the judges. You’ll be able to watch all this from the comfort of your homes. But since the beginning of this week, the prejudging has been taking place in the run up to the Carnival Road March. On Thursday night, four non-competing bands put of a showcase as they are simply participating in the road march. News Five’s Duane Moody reports.
