One dengue patient died while 524 patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today.
With the new death, the total number of dengue deaths rose to 55, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Among the death cases, 27 are in Dhaka, 18 are in Cox's Bazar, six in Chattogram and four in Barishal, according to the data of the DGHS.
The total number of dengue cases rose to 15,346 of which 3582 from outside Dhaka.
A total of 1820 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of whom 432 are from outside Dhaka.
