A 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death at the railway colony area in Dhaka's Shahjahanpur last night (August 17, 2022).
The deceased Maruf was an employee of an automobile workshop in Rajarbagh area.

He was stabbed near the colony around 9:30 pm and was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where a duty doctor declared him dead around 10:30 pm, said Md Harun, another teenager who took him to the hospital.
Maruf lost his mother when he was a child. His father married again and stayed elsewhere, the deceased's aunt Sheuly Akter said.
Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost, said the body was sent to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
