Last days in Bangladesh ‘memorable’

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Li Jiming, has said that his days in Bangladesh were memorable, when he paid a farewell call on Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Thursday.

Dipu Moni highly affirmed the significant contribution by Ambassador Li to promoting China-Bangladesh relations in the field of educational exchanges and cooperation during his tenure, and appreciated China's support and care toward Bangladesh students in China during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic and facilitating students stranded in Bangladesh returning China for school.

Ambassador Li said that his days in Bangladesh was memorable, the educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Bangladesh are closely related to the future of China-Bangladesh friendship, and he felt highly honored to contribute in this regard.

He expected that, with the joint efforts of both sides, closer educational exchanges and cooperation will be cemented in the days to come.

During the meeting, Dipu Moni happily shared the good time of her visit to China and hoped that ambassador Li would continue to support China-Bangladesh education cooperation after returning to China.
