As per the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz, Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal on Sunday visited different areas of Gujranwala division to review on ground implementation of measures being taken to provide relief to people.The Chief Secretary inspected the process of urea sale at centres in Pasroor, Daska, Ghakkar and Wazirabad and inquired farmers about the availability and prices of fertilizers.

“For your convenience, Urea is being sold under the supervision of government officials at the level of the union council. Are you satisfied with the measures taken by the government?” the Chief Secretary asked the visiting farmers.

The Chief Secretary said that no one would be allowed tied sale of Urea with DAP. He said that the provision of relief to the people was the top priority of the government and the prices and availability of commodities were being closely monitored.
