Defending Courts Inter-district Championship (IDC) champions Suva is drawn into a tricky Group B for this year’s tournament.
The group draws was held in Suva, this morning.
Suva faces arch-rivals Rewa, the unpredictable Nadi side and the recent Battle of the Giants tournament finalist Navua.
In an earlier interview former Suva coach Babs Khan said he is betting on them to retain the title.
However, Khan warned, that Rewa and Navua should not be counted out.
“In the last 10 months, Navua has twice made the finals (of two other tournaments),” Khan.
Digicel Premier League winners Lautoka tops Group A followed by B.O.G winners Labasa, Ba and Tailevu/Naitasiri.
The IDC is from October 10-15 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
SUPER PREMIER DIVISION
Group A: Lautoka, Labasa, Ba, Tailevu/Naitasiri
Group B: Suva, Rewa, Nadi, Navua
PREMIER DIVISION
Group A: Tavua, Seaqaqa, Rakiraki
Group B: Nadroga, Savusavu, Nasinu
SENIOR DIVISION
Group A: Northland, Bua, Taveuni
Group B: Lami, Nadroga, Dreketi.
