Love For Children Propels Erevi Lewanikoro

A love for children has urged Erevi Lewanikoro, 20, to follow her career pathway of becoming a teacher. 

A love for children has urged Erevi Lewanikoro, 20, to follow her career pathway of becoming a teacher. 

She represents Veisaru Sector in the FMF Ba Farmers Carnival 2023 which is underway and ends this Saturday with a crowning ceremony. 

Originally from Rakiraki, Yale, Kadavu and has maternal links to Nalawa, Vanuakula, Ra. She thanked the organiser of the Ba Farmers Carnival and her family. 

This is her second time taking part in the pageant. 

“I can assure you it’s a challenging platform and my vision has bought me this far,” she said. 

“The subject I have been advocating during the carnival is to ‘Rejuvenate Farmers ‘and encourage youth who have left school and unemployed to do farming because it’s a job that they can produce money from the soil.” 

Her career pathway is to become a schoolteacher because she loves to teach kids. 

She attended Vatukoula Primary School and A.D. Patel College, in Ba. 

As Fiji National University Natabua campus student she is now pursuing a programme in teaching. 

Her hobbies include socialising, teaching small children and reading.
