Former Fiji Airways chief customer service officer, Shaenaz Voss, will reappear at the Nausori Magistrates Court on December 12.

Voss, 63, appeared before Magistrate Jeremaiah Savou yesterday.

Charges
She is charged with failure to comply with the requirements of the operator’s airline programme, contrary to Section 37 of the Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations 1994.

During the hearing, the prosecution pleaded with the court for more time to complete its documentation
because it had just received new files from the Police.

Defence lawyer Fatima Gul said they had written to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions
at the beginning of the month, but not heard back from them.

Magistrate Savou then granted the prosecution a 21-month to one year extension to respond.

Voss’s bail was extended and will reappear on the set date.
