China donates mobile hospitals to Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- A handover ceremony of two sets of mobile hospitals from China to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan was held here on Sunday.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov and Chinese Ambassador Du Dewen attended the event.

Japarov said the donation fully reflects the high-level relations between the two countries and the deep friendship between the two peoples, noting the hospitals will make it possible to provide prompt, accessible and qualified medical care in emergency situations.

Du said the handover of the mobile hospitals will be a vivid example of joint efforts to build a community with a shared future between China and Kyrgyzstan.

China is ready to work with Kyrgyzstan to implement the consensus reached by the two countries' heads of state in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, the ambassador noted.

The ceremony was also attended by Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov, Vice Speaker of Parliament Jamilya Isaeva, and Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Ajikeev.
