‘Country-ish’ on Netflix Delayed: When Will It Be Released?

Country fans were primed and ready to spend the weekend streaming Country-ish, a new Netflix reality show all about the life of up-and-coming independent musician Coffey Anderson. As seen in the trailer, the show gives a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to strike out on your own and try to make it as a musician in the highly competitive country genre. But Coffey isn’t alone alone; he’s got a wife and family by his side, getting plenty of screentime. His wife is a star in her own right, as a professional dancer whose battle against colon cancer looks to be a major part of the show.

But if you logged onto Netflix today hopping to get your Country-ish binge going, you were met with a surprise. The show’s nowhere to be found! What gives? Where is Country-ish on Netflix? Here’s what we know so far!

When is Country-ish coming out on Netflix?

The Coffey Anderson Netflix show was originally scheduled to be released on Friday, September 25. That’s also the date touted in the trailer, which you can watch above. But if you search Netflix for the show, it’s nowhere to be found. Apparently September 25 is not the release date!

Where is the Coffey Anderson Netflix show?

That’s the question, isn’t it? While Netflix has not made any type of announcement just yet, LightWorkers—the show’s production company—has shed some, well, light on the situation. In an Instagram post from September 24, the company said that the show is getting a new release date.

LightWorkers Media is a production company specializing in faith-based entertainment that was founded by Touched By an Angel star Roma Downey and her husband, Survivor producer Mark Burnett.

Decider has reached out to Netflix for an update on the status of Country-ish.

Does Country-ish have a new release date?

The show does not have a new release date just yet.

Are there any Coffey or Criscilla updates on the Netflix show?

Not yet. Both Coffey and Criscilla shared the LightWorkers Instagram post in their respective Instagram stories. Both of them are kinda distracted, though! Coffey’s new single, “Mr Red White and Blue,” is currently burning up iTunes’ country music charts—which is a big deal since Coffey is an independent musician who doesn’t have the support of a major label. It’s at #11 as of this article’s publication!

We will update this article with any updates about Country-ish.
