Homeless man dead after being kicked down Penn Station stairs: cops

A homeless man died after someone kicked him down a flight of stairs in Penn Station this week, according to cops and police sources.

The unidentified victim was arguing with another man, who chased him into a stairway inside the Manhattan transit hub at West 34th Street and Seventh Avenue around 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.

When the homeless man reached the top of the stairs, his rival kicked him in the back, causing him to fall down the steps, police sources said.

Cops found him at the bottom of the stairway with head trauma.

He was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The city Medical Examiner’s office is yet to officially determine his cause of death.

The nature of the argument between the man and his assailant was not immediately clear.

The attacker remained in the wind Wednesday.
