President Trump eldest daughter and top aide Ivanka Trump is reportedly among a list of names submitted to the Treasury Department as a possible candidate to head the World Bank.
Ivanka is being considered for the position as current World Bank president Jim Yong Kim recently announced he is stepping down at the end January, according to the Financial Times.
Ivanka Trump’s previous business experience includes her work with the Trump Organization and managing her own lifestyle and fashion brand.
Other possible candidates mentioned are David Malpass, a current Treasury official, Nikki Haley, former UN ambassador, and Mark Green, head of the US Agency for International Development, the paper said.
A Treasury department spokeswoman would only confirm to the Financial Times that it has received “a significant number of recommendations for good candidates.”
