Renowned boxing promoter Abdul Feroz is back after 12 years of absence.

Speaking to SUNsports, this afternoon, the head of Toe-To-Toe Boxing Promotions confirmed that he has been issued his license.
“I’m grateful to the Boxing Commission of Fiji for approving my application,” Feroz said.

“There were issues, which I had to resolve but I could have made a quicker comeback if it was not for COVID-19,” he said.
“That delayed me for about three years but now I’m back and ready to promote.”

Feroz said his promotion is set for November 18 at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

“I’m holding my first press conference sometimes next week to announce my main bout. It will be a surprise because I’ve a reputation of bringing in world class boxers.”

At the height of his promotions, Feroz brought in world-rated boxers like Javier Mamani, Daniel Baff, Gary Comer, Sean Sullivan, Paul ‘The Doctor’ Smallman, India’s Pradeep Singh and Yao Hi Ma.He also promoted top local boxers like Zulfikar Joy Ali, Sakeasi Dakua, Alivereti Misioka, Mosese Sorovi (Snr), Tevita Vakalalabure and the list goes on.
