FNB CUSTOMER BASE INCREASES BY 13%

EZULWINI - The bank stated that overall financial performance was significantly boosted by a 13 per cent increase in the bank’s active customer base and strong transactional volumes led to non-interest revenue recording a nine improvement year on year.

This is volume-driven growth that is substantially higher than the maximum price adjustments approved in the year, a pattern that should be sustainable as more customers adopt mobile devices as primary banking tools. The investment in a wider distribution network and efforts to maintain high levels of device availability over the years on key self-service platforms should support the bank’s transactional volumes growth targets. The bank stated that it shall continue to further strengthen this strategy by adding more products, increasing ease of lifestyle and business support solutions and better managing distribution costs.
