While the construction industry is critical for nation building and development, it is also a big player and contributor to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
One way of contributing is through the sale of heavy earthmoving machinery and equipments- a major brand being the new JCB invented machines now available on the market.
Managing director of NGIP Agmark group of companies, John Nightingale, said they have been JCB dealers for 10 years and have been through tough economic times, but now hopes for the situation to improve with the new government.
Mr Nightingale said they are pleased and proud of their association with JCB and its great products, saying the backhoes JCB invented continues to lead in the market.
“Apart from great products, I found that the JCB people we have dealt with in the past and the current team are really good people,” Nightingale said.
“We are dealing with a company that has great products and people so it’s a good way to do business,” he said.
Nightingale also acknowledged the support of the clients and thanked them for their continued support and interest taken in their products especially machines that are suitable for any work.
JCB South East Asia managing director Max Lytle said they are really proud of associating with NGIP Agmark group of companies for the last 10 years.
Mr Lytle said JCB sold over a 100,000 machines throughout the world last year alone.
“To be honest the machines are very good, but we have to have the right partners and I am really proud of our long relationships with Agmark.
It’s the longest serving dealer that we now have in South East Asia,” Lytle said.
“Our success in PNG is down to the people at Agmark and the approach they take is very customer focused. So we know we have the right people here.”
