The Kimbe Soccer Association (KSA) has thanked Tupari Southon of Eagle One Security Services for sponsoring their pre-season competition which ended with the Grand Finals on Sunday at the Muthuvel Stadium.
The sponsor came onboard with cash prizes for both the men and women divisions giving K500 for the first prizes to both the men and women winners, plus K400 for second, K300 for third place and K200 for the fourth placing.
Bentan FC won the men’s divisions beating Uni Com FC 6 -5 in a penalty shoot-out.
While in the women, Medics FC nailed Mix Mates 2-1.
KSA management during the presentation also took the opportunity to thank the Reimann family for their continuous support to the association and the legacy left behind by their son and former KSA president, the late Kurt Reimann three years ago.
The pre-season final also marked the third anniversary of his passing.
Meanwhile, NGI Soccer Federation president Maha Waname said time is upon them to prepare for the annually staged NGI Besta qualifier that is set for Arawa from July 21-27.
